To Shower Or To Power Shower? That Is The Question!

“To be, or not to be…”

The opening line of Hamlet’s soliloquy may be the most famous artefact of the Bard’s work today; the speech that the line is from explores the internal struggle of Hamlet himself.

Now we are not suggesting from our title of this piece that the decision between a normal shower and a power shower is going to cause you internal pain and lots of stress and sleepless nights. But at the same time, it is a question you will ask yourselves when getting a new shower or bathroom fitted.

And to make the right decision, you need to understand the differences – so what are the advantages of power showering over the ‘normal’ electric shower?

Well, our power showers come with a built-in electrical pump that is designed to give consistent water flow, which makes the water come out faster and with greater pressure than with a normal shower.

The power shower may be modern and uses the latest technology but it doesn’t have to have that look. If you have gone for a traditional or retro style in your bathroom, then there are different designs of power showers you can choose from.

We at Aquatech are trusted experts in creating beautiful and efficient bathrooms and we provide full bathroom and wet room installations. This also covers walk-in showers and adapted showers and bathrooms for disabled clients.

Don’t read this and think we are trying to pressure (no pun intended!) you into purchasing a power shower – that is not our aim; our aim is to keep you, our customers, happy and satisfied.

When selecting any of our shower products, or any of our products for that matter, you can rest safe in the knowledge that you will be opting for something which is extremely effective.

We can also bring you environmental efficiency, by making recommendations such as the use of aerators. These mix air with water and can reduce water consumption by up to 50%. Smaller toilet cisterns (6/4 litre dual flush as opposed to traditional 9 litre) save huge amounts of water with no noticeable effect on performance.

With a focus on both efficiency and luxury we’ll create a bathroom that’s good for the environment and good for your sense of well-being.

Remember, at Aquatech, as well as the larger jobs, we are just as happy to carry out your smaller jobs, although you may feel confident doing these yourself, as we talked about in the previous blog post.

If you are based in or around Bishop’s Stortford then contact us to discuss your plumbing, heating or gas installation needs, and to receive a detailed and free no obligation quote.
